In order to reduce wastage, stock piling and improve overall patient safety The Beacon Health Group will no longer accept repeat prescription requests from any community or online pharmacies as of 1st October 2019. We would like patients to order their own medication directly from the surgery and would encourage patients to use online services or electronic repeat dispensing where possible.
For further information please speak to the dispensary team directly or visit your usual pharmacy for a letter about the changes.
How to order
These are the ways you can request your medication:
- In person at the surgery or via post
- By following the link on this page to the online form
- Electronic Repeat Dispensing
Repeat prescription requests should be left in the box provided at each site.
Please allow the surgery at least two working days to process your repeat prescriptions; we will not be able to dispense your prescription without 48 hours’ notice.
Please allow your designated pharmacy 3-4 days to fill your prescription.
The dispensary at Danbury is open:
Monday to Friday 08.00 - 13.00 and 14.00 - 18.30.

FOR SAFETY REASONS WE DO NOT TAKE PRESCRIPTION REQUESTS OVER THE TELEPHONE
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
